Terms of Service

Applies to Advi’s personal-finance product only.

These Terms govern your use of Advi, provided by Advi, LLC (“Advi,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company. By creating an account or using Advi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Advi.

1. What Advi is

Advi is a personal finance management application. It reads information from financial accounts you choose to connect, calculates a financial health score, and generates coaching content to help you understand and improve your finances.

Advi is not a bank. Advi does not:

2. Advi is not financial advice

All content in Advi — including your score, insights, comparisons, and coaching — is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and Advi is not your fiduciary, broker, or investment adviser. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting.

3. AI-generated content

Advi uses a third-party large language model to generate coaching text. This content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it as your only source of information. Verify any figure that matters before acting on it.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Advi.

5. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@advi.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

Advi uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting an account, you:

Advi is offered on a limited-availability basis and is under active development. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will be error-free.

9. Intellectual property

Advi and its content, design, scoring methodology, and software are owned by Advi, LLC. Your financial data remains yours. You grant Advi a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

ADVI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR SCORE, CATEGORIZATIONS, OR COACHING ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADVI, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ADVI. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

You may stop using Advi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

14. Resolving disputes

If you have a problem, contact us first at support@advi.ai. We will try to resolve it informally. Most disputes can be settled this way.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Advi after that means you accept the updated Terms.
